One girls DIY restoration of a cottage.

As far as possible we, me and MeWally, want an old age with low, or no, utility bills. We also happen to be stingey with money and will make as much eco stuff as we can and build it all into our tiny house.

So we'll have a comfortable home that's cheap to make and to run. RESULT!!

Odds And Ends -Tuesday

Oh will it never end.

Well, yes, actually.

All those little jobs at the Turn Around House.

After finalizing a little bit of decorating in the kitchen and some filling around a window, I took on the high ceiling in the stairwell.

Normally I'd get up the ladder to do this, but Ed had used this long stick at Sams' place, so I thought I'd give it a go.

I did the whole job with it. On reflection, I prefer the ladder.

After that, it was pain sailing (a real PAIN), fit a loft hatch - using my new LOFT HATCH CATCH. No photos, but I'll take piccys of the next one - next week : (
